'Mobility'

Short on words at the moment; planning things...
When things have settled and very much inspired by Russell Davies posting on mobility, I'm expecting myself to pick up a healthy interest in mobile applications and phones this year. I don't know a thing about mobile devices and carry around this model that's obviously useless. Need to upgrade badly and see what's going on.

'What A Happy Day' - Burning Spear
'Sentimental Man' - Ernest Wilson
'I Get Lifted' - George McGrae
'Sport' - Lightning Rod
'Revival' - Martine Girault

'New Identity'

Just wanted to share a YouTube clip since it conveys much of the things I'm covering in my new portfolio and also what I've been mouthing off about for the last two years or so, especially the last minute of the clip. Don't really like the loose 'trendy' talk about 2.0 (3.0, 4.0...), trying hard to ignore it. What should be emphasized more is the actual effect on the common individual and societies at large; as with the open sourced development of the web, we the people finally have the means to create new and maybe more accurate modern 'mashed-up' identities by our participation in multiple instant realities. So focused right now.

Note to self - again: Semantic Web

*(Nothing new here really, Marshall McLuhan was already writing about all this 40 (!) years ago).
